Latest news from Trustees Unlimited.

What are your New Year resolutions for 2010? Meeting new people? Developing new skills? Donating time to a cause you believe in? If so, why not become a trustee? A trustee is a member of a group of people - the board of trustees, management committee or governing body - who have ultimate responsibility in a not for profit organisation. Being a trustee is an enriching experience both for you and the organisation you serve, and most importantly, for the organisation’s beneficiaries.

Many of you will be familiar with Trustees Unlimited, the new trustee recruitment service set up by Russam GMS in partnership with Bates Wells & Braithwaite, and NCVO, matching potential trustees with suitable not for profit organisations. If you are interested in becoming a trustee, register your interest with Trustees Unlimited, who will contact you when a suitable opportunity arises.

A quick update that might interest you with regard to the Trustees Unlimited website: we have created two new tabs, Knowledge Bank and Current Vacancies. The Knowledge Bank will be continually updated with articles that are both informative and thought provoking. The Current Vacancies section speaks for itself and you will note that we have three trustee positions we are recruiting for at the moment, one for Christian Aid and two for My Voice London.
